Designed by acclaimed architect Snorre Stinessen, the cabin blends seamlessly into its surroundings, with floor-to-ceiling glass that frames ever-changing views of the fjord and mountains. The setting is quiet and powerful—ideal for those seeking reflection, connection, or simply a pause from everyday life.
Facing southwest, the cabin catches the last light of the Arctic sun and, when night falls, offers unobstructed views of the Northern Lights dancing above the water. As a sister property to Aurora Lodge, Efjord Cabin delivers the same understated luxury—just on a more personal scale.
Capacity
The main cabin consists of a master bedroom wiht ensuite batthroom in cluding both shower and tub, as well as a inviting sauna. On the second floor you find a couble bed, as well as a bunk, bed. The boat house features a comfortable bunk bed configuration with its own bathroom as well as livingroom and kitchen.
The ideal group size is between two to eight guests. Either as one or two couples, or a family.

Efjorden lies quietly beneath jagged peaks in Ofoten, Nordland — a narrow stretch of sea winding its way between sheer rock faces and forested hills. The fjord cuts deep into the landscape, where weathered cliffs rise straight from the water and sudden shifts in light turn the mountains from grey to gold.
Along the shoreline, scattered houses and boathouses bear quiet witness to a long-standing presence. Further inland, pine and birch grow along ridges shaped by the ice, and old footpaths lead through heather and stone, where reindeer and hikers pass.
